My name is Liam, and I am working with Fisher & Talwar, a personal injury law firm in Los Angeles, CA.  We're reaching out to you with a scholarship opportunity for your students. The Fisher & Talwar $1,000 General Scholarship is now available to students currently pursuing or plan on pursuing a college degree. The deadline for application submissions is November 15, 2018. To qualify for this scholarship:

  1. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  2. Must be a full-time student who is currently attending (or planning to attend full-time) an accredited institution of higher education.
  3. Must provide proof of current enrollment or plans to enroll in an accredited institution of higher education. If you have not received acceptance, you may still apply, but be sure to provide proof of acceptance and enrollment for the scholarship to be released (ex. screenshot of grades, picture of acceptance letter, etc.). 
  4. Must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA.

Charlotte Mousel Scholarship 2018

This scholarship is given to a 2018 graduating high school senior in honor of Charlotte Mousel who was a Federated Republican Woman that was a leader, not only in her local club, but served at the Division and State level and was also an elected California Offical. She was a woman who loved America and her life revolved around efforts to support and enhance young Republicans. She worked extensively to promote the California Advocacy Program through which hundreds of students learned first-hand how state government operates. Under her guidance, the program became a model for other states' programs.

Italian Catholic Federation Scholarship

Since 1964, the Italian Catholic Federation has awarded over $2,000,000.00 in scholarships to more than 6,000 high school students, of the Catholic faith, attending college.


Each spring, the Italian Catholic Federation receives nearly 400 applications for its yearly scholarship awards. Applications are received from students in public as well as Catholic high schools in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Illinois. To apply, students must achieve a total cumulative GPA (3½ years) of at least 3.2 and meet one of the following:

  1. Are Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois and Nevada, only where Branches of the Federation are established; or,

  2. Are Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent or live where Branches of the Federation are established if either Roman Catholic parent, guardian or grandparent is a member of the “Italian Catholic Federation.”

Nursing Schools Almanac has just launched its fourth annual Aspiring Nurse Scholarship. Our website will award a $1,000 scholarship to a future nurse in the high school graduating class of 2018.


We will award this scholarship to the applicant who best demonstrates:

+ A track record of academic excellence, particularly in science and mathematics

+ A passion for the nursing profession and the overall field of healthcare


This scholarship competition is open to all high school seniors who plan to pursue college education in nursing, including LPN / LVN, ADN, and BSN programs. Scholarship applications will be accepted until midnight on August 31, 2018.

  • Students must live in Southern California Edison’s service territory.
  • Must be a high school senior with at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA

Interested in a Construction Related Course of Study at VVC?

Download this application to compete for one of six Construction Technology Scholarships.  Two are for $500.00 and four are for $250.00.  The application is short and straightforward. The students can either physically bring their completed application to Al Youngs or Anthony Bonato at Bldg 65, OR at VVC or they can fill it out, scan it, and e-mail it to me. (


The scholarship is intended for graduating seniors who may be interested in a construction-related course of study next year. 

The College Peas Standout Student Scholarship

To qualify for the College Peas Standout Student Scholarship you must be a current high school student and:


- Be a current high school student that Intends to enroll full-time at a four-year college.

- Have a minimum GPA of 2.0/4.0.

I am proud to announce that Notre Dame de Namur University (NDNU) will be bringing back track & field starting the 2017-2018 academic school year to complement our current cross country programs. To build our track/cross country programs, we are in search of quality student-athletes who have a strong desire to compete and will be successful in a small school environment. Gates Millenium Scholars Program

The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program, funded by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was established in 1999 to provide outstanding African American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian Pacific Islander American**, and Hispanic American students with an opportunity to complete an undergraduate college education in any discipline area of interest.
